Attorney focused on commercial real estate law, agent joins Weichert

Associate Steven D. Solowsky joined Shumaker’s Real Estate and Development Service Line where he focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate law.

Solowsky, who works in the firm’s Sarasota office, has extensive experience. He advises both private and corporate clients on negotiating and drafting contracts in a variety of complex commercial transactions and commercial property closings.

He works with clients at all stages of a real estate transaction, including negotiating, buying, renting and selling various types of real estate, such as commercial office buildings and oil and gas utilities.

He has experience handling complex commercial disputes in both state and federal courts and has represented clients in jury and non-judicial proceedings, American Arbitration Association arbitration, and collective arbitration, mediation and settlement negotiations.

Shumaker’s Real Estate and Development Service Line is a full-service, transnational group that provides comprehensive advice on the full spectrum of real estate transactions, from land acquisition, due diligence and land use permits to the financing, construction, leasing and sale of a project.
