GTIS Brazil Funds Once Again Rank as Most Sustainable Private Equity Real Estate Funds in South America
NEW YORK, 9 Dec 2021 / PRNewswire / – GTIS Partners (“GTIS”), a real estate investment firm that operates more than $ 4 billion of Gross Assets, announced today that GTIS Brazil Real Estate Fund I has been named the Most Sustainable Private Equity Real Estate Investment Fund 2021 South America through the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (“GRESB”). This is the seventh year in a row that the fund has taken the top spot. GTIS Brazil Real Estate Funds III and II took second and third place, respectively, and rounded off the top three.
The 2021 GRESB survey had the largest total turnout ever, with 1,520 real estate companies filing worldwide, up 24% from 2020. This is the highest percentage increase GRESB has seen since 2012 and the highest increase in the total number of submissions ever achieved. From 2021, GRESB will now cover $ 5.7 trillion from AUM (from $ 4.8 trillion in 2020) and almost 117,000 individual assets.
