Travis Earls is streamlining operations at ReMax Real Estate Ten.

He’s taken ReMax’s four offices in Hamblen County and consolidated them down to two without sacrificing service or availability.

“When I bought this, it had built up over time to four offices in Morristown,” Earls explained. “That’s the way you did it in the ’90s. With the world changing and technology advancing, you don’t need all those locations. We can be more efficient with two. Technology has allowed us to simplify business.”

Earls said the office at 525 West Morris Boulevard will serve as the commercial division but will also handle residential real estate transactions as well.

The office at 4780 West Andrew Johnson Highway will remain focused on residential real estate.

ReMax Real Estate 10 currently features 49 agents who serve the Lakeway Area and beyond. Last year the agency handled $294 million in sales.

Earls, who bought the company in 2019, began his career at the age of 17 with a house for which his parents co-signed the loan. He continued buying, selling and renting until he was 25 and became licensed to help others buy and sell.

He started his career with ReMax in 2005.

“I just want everybody to know that we’re growing,” Earls said. “When people see an office close, they think you’re going backwards. This is a move forwards. We’re just trying to keep improving to make us better able to serve the community.”
