Annual Halloween event a success
Just wrapped up our Trick and Treat in the Trails Event at Ira Township Municipal Park. What a fun time! The weather was picture perfect!
We changed the layout a bit and put Maria and Michelle front and center with the hot dogs near the pavilion. That was a busy area all afternoon!
Rosco the Clown was stationed by the scarecrow making and kept the kids entertained and laughing!
We had great volunteers with National Honor Society from Anchor Bay High School and Algonac High School, Jennifer Darga, Sue Parsell and Girl Scout Troop 70092.
Boy Scout Troop 252 arrived early and were the last to leave after cleanup. We couldn’t do this without their help!
4H had good response for the pumpkin science and art in the pavilion!
Our sponsors and donors included Grosso Trucking, MGM Dumpsters, Nickel and Saph Insurance, Mini’s Collison, Van Houtte Bros., Mill Creek Disc Golf Avoca, Ducks Ponds Disc Golf Capac, Friends and Volunteers of Ira Disc Golf Course, Ann and Jim Alexie, Jean Corbat, Maria McGuire ReMax and Mini’s Collision, RaeAnne DeBryn, Carol Hosler and L’Anse Creuse Future Leaders students, the Meinke Family, Anchor Bay Lions and ML Chartier.
We loved all of the positive comments during and after the event!
This year’s costumes were very interesting and creative!
Thank you all for your support, donations and hard work to keep this annual tradition going strong!
