Luxury Real Estate Broker Beau Blankenship Tells All About Investing in a Home
The COVID pandemic brought a new way of life for many. People had to stay away from friends and family – we even had to work from home. Because of this, a lot of people really had to pause and think about where they were currently living. Stuck at home forced people to open their eyes to many things – the greatest of which was their home, its location, and its practicality.
Luxury real estate agent Beau Blankenship was one of many brokers to see a record year in sales due to COVID. “Investment property and the entire real estate industry became a lucrative business in late 2020 and through 2021 due to the COVID pandemic,” says Blankenship.
“The historically low level of interest rates combined with the rise in remote working has opened up more opportunities to invest in a different type of lifestyle. Not only were more people interested in “moving to the beach,” but more people than ever before were interested in beach shopping because suddenly they “can work from home from anywhere,” says Blankenship.

“I mainly work with people who have experience buying investment property or properties that serve as vacation homes and also generate rental income,” says Blankenship. “I’ve worked with a lot of people. So if you’re looking to invest or buy a home, here’s some advice, ”says Blankenship.
“I’ve worked with so many interested buyers who don’t know what they can and can’t afford. Knowing your numbers is important if you are to start this process. You should know exactly how much home you can afford, what your mortgage payments will be, what potential interest costs and what other monthly costs you will have after you move in. You will want to find an estimate for all of these things. and you want an estimate for these things when you find a home that you are serious about buying. Take a look at your paycheck and make sure you can afford it. When you invest, calculate your return on investment before you buy, ”says Blankenship.
“One more thing, and that is crucial. Find out your credit score and talk to lenders about your interest rates and what you will qualify for. This makes the buying process a lot easier for you. If you can pre-qualify, that’s a home run! “Says Blankenship.
If you’re looking to buy, sell, or invest in the Blankenship area, you’ll know this: “I wake up every day ready to work hard for my customers. Nothing makes me happier than finding them their dream homes, even if it’s an investment property, a second home, or a forever home, ”says Blankenship.
