Sklar Kirsh Bolsters Real Estate Practice with Attorney Jessica Demeter
THE ANGEL, July 14, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Leading boutique law firm Sklar Kirsh LLP announced today that Jessica Demeter joined the Real Estate practice group as an associate. Demeter’s practice includes representing a wide variety of clients in complex commercial real estate and business transactions, including securitized financing, acquisitions, sales, preferred equity, leasing, joint ventures and construction transactions.

Demeter’s experience in real estate transactions includes multi-family, retail, office, hotel, condominium, industrial, warehouse, building land and mixed-use properties. She has extensive experience managing all aspects of a transaction, from due diligence to preparing and negotiating primary and ancillary documents.
Prior to joining Sklar Kirsh LLP, Jessica was an attorney in the real estate transactions department of The angel Safarian Choi & Bolstad LLP boutique law firm. There, her experience included representing various lenders in eight- to nine-digit transactions over 50 secured bridging and construction loan transactions for commercial real estate. Demeter also represented clients in preferred equity transactions, acquisitions and sales of various commercial properties.
A new York native, Jessica moved to Germany The angel to attend Loyola Law School where she earned her JD. While studying law, Jessica worked full-time as a trainee lawyer, was the editor of The Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review, and volunteered to mentor the Young Lawyers Program, which taught civil law litigation with local high school students.
Jessica has a BA in Sociology and a BS in Political Science from University of Rhode Islandwhere she was the secretary of the student senate and tutor of writing and rhetoric.
