Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance Inc is a real estate investment trust that primarily purchases, invests, acquires, and manages commercial first mortgage loans, subordinated finance, commercial mortgage-backed securities, and other real estate-related debt. On a cost basis, the subordinated loans and the first mortgage loans make up the vast majority of the portfolio. Property types include residential, retail, healthcare, offices, mixed-use properties, hotels, industrial properties, apartment buildings, securities and others, with residential properties and hotels representing the highest property value. More than a third of the properties are in New York City, while the other properties are in other regions of the United States as well as in other countries.
