In addition, over 500 brokerage firms have extended their franchise agreements. These brand commitments preceded a monumental acquisition by RE / MAX, LLC with the recently announced acquisition of the North American regions of RE / MAX INTEGRA, which was discussed in depth on the conference call for the second quarter of 2021. The transaction, which was completed in July, brought over 19,000 agents (approx Canada and 7,000 in the US) and 1,100+ independent RE / MAX offices in the growing group of Corporate Regions (COR) of RE / MAX, LLC. These affiliates serve a wide variety of communities and promote RE / MAX’s mission to provide the best experience in all real estate areas.

In the second quarter alone, RE / MAX sold over 50 franchises in the US and Canada and over 175 outside of the US and Canada. Over 150 brokerage firms in the two countries and 95 brokerage firms beyond renewed their franchise agreements in the quarter.
