Four experienced professionals have created an authentic music experience that is a lot of fun
ATASCADERO – The city of Atascadero is proud to announce the next concert in the summer concert series “Saturdays in the Park” in 2021. The event will be held at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evenings throughout the summer. This Saturday, August 28th, The Rockin ‘B’s Band will take the stage.
Four experienced professionals come together to create an authentic and entertaining music experience. The sum of its parts, the Rockin ‘Bs Band has a varied repertoire that is ideal for listening and dancing. Julie Beaver is a powerful country / blues violinist and singer who turns the afterburners on when it’s time to rock. Kenny Blackwell is just as versatile as a musician and singer and always shows his tasteful guitar skills when he is at the bandstand. Americana man Wally Barnick brings strong vocals and solid electric bass, while drummer Art Dougall delivers just the right amount of oomph, having played with many prominent Central Coast bands over the past few decades.
Music lovers of all ages will enjoy the wide range of styles, high quality musicality and good vibes that the members of the Rockin ‘Bs Band bring to the stage. For a more intimate “unplugged” experience, check out the Rockin ‘Bs Trio (no drums, acoustic guitar instead of electric guitar).

- August 28th Rockin ‘B’s Band (American Dance, Rock, Blues, Country)
- September 4th garden party (classical, folk, 60s & 70s rock)
- September 11th Patriot’s Day double show 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the historic town hall (Painted Red Band (Classic Rock) & Unfinished Business (Timeless Rock))
- September 18th Ghost Monster (Feel good Rock’n Roll), presented by ReMax Success
All concerts are scheduled for the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with the exception of the September 11th show, which will be performed at Historic City Hall in honor of Patriot Day.
The concerts are free to the public and everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket, low-back chair, and the whole family to enjoy the warm summer evenings in Atascadero.
