FAIRMONT – The girls’ hockey team Car Parts Direct 12U scored two victories on the last two Saturdays in February.

Maia Goerndt, Jo Meyer and Harper Artz each scored two goals to lead Fairmont to a 7-1 win over Windom at the Martin County Arena on February 20.

Madison Sokoloski contributed a goal to Car Parts Direct’s victories, while Artz, Bella Newville, Brooklyn Murphy and Jadyn Musser each had an assistant.

Fairmont goalkeeper Lexi Sundeen scored five saves to get the win.

Newville scored two goals and one assist, while Goerndt scored two goals in Windom last Saturday to accelerate Wind Parts Direct’s 7-0 win against Windom.

Musser, Addison Folkerts and Frankie Martin each scored goals, while Meyer distributed two helpers for Fairmont. Murphy and Sokoloski each made an assist, while Sundeen made two stops for the shutout.

The Fairmont 10U girls’ hockey line-up recorded two wins in a row last weekend.

Avery Kurt scored one goal and one assist, while netminder Nola Hazard denied six shots for the shutout in Fairmont’s 3-1 triumph against Worthington last Saturday at the Martin County Arena.

Lauren Bettin and Halyn Haycraft each contributed a goal for Fairmont, which triggered 31 shots in the net.

Bettin scored a goal and an assistant to lead Fairmont to a 3-2 win over Marshall in Marshall last Sunday.

Alexis Haycraft and Evelyn Folkerts each scored one goal, while Halyn Haycraft distributed an assist. Hazard averted eight opposing shots to give Fairmont the win.

The REMAX Bantam ‘B’ ice hockey team fought Marshall for a 4-0 draw at the Martin County Arena in Fairmont last Sunday.

Jace Teveldal scored two goals while Barret Scholl and Jace Prindle each contributed one goal to the deadlock.

Tyson Pankow, Mathew Cone and Tyler Kurt each handed out an assist, while goalkeeper Isaiah Lockwood made 37 saves for REMAX.

The Fairmont Squirt ‘B’ hockey team suffered a draw and a loss in the ice cream campaign last weekend.

Ryder Thate amassed two goals and an assist to help Fairmont save a 5-all draw with Worthington in Fairmont last Saturday.

Kaleb Kennedy, Kane Wohlhuter and Bennett Draper each delivered a goal for Fairmont, while Hogan Artz delivered an assist.

Wohlhuter scored a hat trick and assist, while Draper scored a goal and a helper in Fairmont’s 7-4 loss to Marshall White last Sunday in Marshall.
