FAIRMONT – Car Parts Direct’s Fairmont 12U girls’ hockey team scored one win and two losses during the ice action from January 16-17 at the Martin County Arena in Fairmont.

Brooklyn Murphy scored four goals at field height and goalkeeper Lexi Sundeen scored an 11-0 triumph over Okoboji on Jan. 17.

Maia Goerndt collected two goals and an assist for Car Parts Direct, Jadyn Musser scored two goals and Madison Sokoloski distributed two assists for the winning performance.

Lily Meyer, Lilly Truesdell and Harper Artz each contributed one goal to Fairmont’s 61-shot goal performance, while Bella Newville and Joslyn Meyer each distributed a helper.

Luverne ran to a 17-0 win over Fairmont on January 17th.

Sundeen scored the game’s top 43 saves while Car Parts Direct only scored four shots on goal.

Marshall doubled the score on Fairmont 6-3 during the ice action on January 16.

Murphy scored two hits, Meyer distributed two assists, while Goerndt scored one.

Sundeen averted 44 Marshall shots while Fairmont scored 14 shots in the net.

The 12U girls’ hockey team from Car Parts Direct welcomes Mankato on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Martin County Arena in Fairmont, before New Ulm / Sleepy Eye is a guest on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

The REMAX bantam hockey team made a separate decision last weekend during the arena action.

Tyson Pankow scored two goals and handed out an assist to help Fairmont beat Redwood Falls 5-2 at Redwood Falls last Saturday.

Jace Teveldal and Jace Prindle each contributed one goal and assist to the win, while Mathew Cone scored one.

REMAX netminder Iliana Moeller scored 18 parades to achieve victory.

Windom made a 9-4 decision over Fairmont at the Martin County Arena in Fairmont last Sunday.

Luke Kester scored a hat trick to speed up REMAX’s offensive performance while Cone contributed a goal. Teveldal and Prindle each distributed an assistant.

Fairmont goalkeeper Isaiah Lockwood made 19 saves in the competition.

The REMAX bantam hockey team will be on their way to Marshall on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Redwood Falls recorded a 9-0 win over the Fairmont Squirts hockey team at Redwood Falls last Sunday.

The Fairmont Squirts will host Windom on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in the Martin County Arena in Fairmont, before traveling to New Ulm on Sunday for a game against hosts New Ulm / Sleepy Eye at 4:15 p.m.
