Compass Fortifies Marketing Suite With Video Studio

Compass Video Studio is the latest marketing tool for tech forward brokerage agents to use for new business and branding.

To expand its marketing offering to offices and brokers across the country, technology-driven real estate agent has launched Compass Video Studio, a compendium of tools used to create animated, graphical slideshows to market listings and enrich ad campaigns. The new functions are accessed via the dashboard of the Compass agents marketing suite.

The software provides templates for each presentation and uses available visual and written assets from the agents’ MLS lists and website property descriptions to populate the presentations.

An algorithm that supports the software automatically selects the highest quality images and narratives for the user, speeds up production, reduces the amount of editing and ensures that each property is ideally presented.

While Video Studio doesn’t currently use true “live-action” videos, Compass officials said integrating custom footage is on the tool’s roadmap.

Video Studio content can easily be shared across multiple social media feeds and become part of an advertising campaign.

Any presentation can be emailed with a single click to share with sellers or teammates in case approval is required prior to publication.

Custom videos can be assembled using the library of listing images and entering custom captions. Points of interest are shown in bold, modern fonts, while a variety of musical themes can be used to aid in the visual presentation of the presentation.

Compass will continue to add templates and features to its video suite, including the integration of swivel room recordings captured from 3D tour files. Market report videos, lifestyle topics and general branding concepts are also planned.

Compass became a public company earlier this year after years of pushing a technology-first message to attract teams and agents.

It has acquired a number of companies since its inception and developed a number of its own marketing and business management tools.
