Crescent Real Estate kicks off $250 million Fort Worth development

Crescent Real Estate – best known for its landmark properties in the uptown neighborhood of Dallas – broke ground for the largest new development in Fort Worth’s cultural district.

The Museum Place project is located west of downtown on Camp Bowie Boulevard near the Will Rogers Coliseum and across from the Kimbell Art Museum and Modern Art Museum.

“It’s a $ 250 million project and one of the largest commercial developments in Fort Worth in years,” said Kasey Pipes, Crescent representative.

The mixed-use development, construction of which began Monday, will include a 200-room luxury hotel, 160,000-square-foot office building and 175 luxury residential units.

Denver-based OZ Architecture designed the development, which is set to open in 2023.

Crescent Real Estate, which started in the mid-1990s, has already invested in Fort Worth real estate.

The real estate company also owns the well-known Crescent complex of Uptown Dallas and developed the McKinney & Olive office and retail project on McKinney Avenue and the Luminary office building in the historic West End of downtown Dallas.
