“It is very rewarding to see this team recognized by their peers for excellence in both the news and advertising,” said Betty Ramsey, KVD Editor. “Our newsroom is run by editor Roger Watson, who has a wealth of experience. It’s no surprise that the number of news awards has risen under his leadership. Watson, former sports editor Titus Mohler, former community news editor Wanda Fix, staff member Alexa Massey, and staff member Crystal Vandegrift all deserve and deserve recognition.
“In our advertising department, advertising manager Jackie Newman, marketing consultant Debbie Evans and operations manager Staci Bridge have always put our customers first. We know our customers get results because they keep telling us. However, it’s good to see that the time and effort put into developing well thought out and high performing marketing programs is also recognized by our peers.
“The rest of this team is made up of Customer Service Manager Regina Caraway, Press Representative Jeff Thomas, and Deputy Press Representative Andy Bridge.
“I’m so proud of the good work this team continues to do for our readers.”
