The Opportunity:
This is a new, unique, and exciting opportunity to take the lead in a Commercial Real Estate Investment Company – established with the key aims to invest and develop Commercial Property in the UK Property Market.
The company is able to raise substantial funds to establish itself within this competitive market, with long term growth aspirations.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:
- Establishing the company in the Northwest and UK Real Estate Market
- Sourcing and Acquiring Commercial Property Assets – across all commercial sectors – predominantly in the Northwest market
- Establishing and growing a support team
- Creating a support structure to include property agents & consultancies, lawyers, architects, cost consultants etc
- appraisals
- Investment strategy eg, yields, IRR etc
- Growth & Promotion of The Business
- Driving the business forward
- ….. and more
The individual shall:
- Maintain a track record of relevant commercial investment experience, or similar
- Understanding the development and planning process is an advantage
- Be from a similar client-side or consultancy position
- Experience and ability to establish and grow a support team across all levels of seniority
- Demonstrate an existing network of regional property advisors and relevant connections
- Possesses a strong operational and financial management background as well as a well-developed understanding of key investment performance drivers
- Ability and confidence in reporting and presenting
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills to facilitate smooth communication and coordination
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player
- Ability to handle a large volume of work; Good organizational skills and proven ability to take ownership, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- You should be commercially focused, have an excellent track record of delivery and be happy working both independently and as part of a team.
- Solution oriented with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and add value
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ambitious, energetic, tenacious and driven, with a ‘can do’ attitude and an ‘ideas’ person.
- 5+ years in a similar role
- MRICS/FRICS (preferable)
Remuneration:
A highly competitive salary is on offer (from £80,000+ per annum plus benefits), depending upon the relevant experience of the successful candidate.
