Attorney Gowell is a nationally recognized bond counsel with extensive corporate, finance and real estate development experience in both the private and public sectors and has served private property developers, public institutions and corporate clients in development, approval, construction, leasing and financing transactions as well in buying and selling office buildings, shopping malls, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, marinas and other real estate values. He is listed on the Red Book for bond buyers and has served as a bond advisor, issuer advisor and lead manager on a variety of public bond finance transactions. As a consultant to private property developers, Attorney Gowell has worked on various residential, industrial, office and hotel projects, public development and urban redevelopment projects, public-private partnerships (P3) and commercial development projects. He also has extensive experience leveraging tax increase finance to clean up contaminated, former industrial sites into productive, economically successful land development projects.
Attorney Butera focuses his practice on advising clients on corporate compliance, administrative and regulatory law, policy and contract law and other general private and public sector matters. Attorney Gowell and Butera join PLDO partner Drew B. Sherman, a commercial and residential real estate and corporate attorney with over 20 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases, purchase and sales agreements, license and distribution agreements, and as sales representative general counsel for public and private companies in multiple industries including banking, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electronics, housewares, manufacturing and distribution.
