Representatives from Freudenberg-NOK and The Granite Group as well as other business leaders at the groundbreaking ceremony for their 64,000 square meter warehouse in Londonderry.

Representatives from Freudenberg-NOK and The Granite Group celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for their future 64,000 square meter plant in Londonderry. The warehouse expansion increases the total size of the building to 305,624 square meters. Freudenberg-NOK will move into the new building, while The Granite Group, a wholesaler for plumbing, heating, cooling and water supply, will take over the existing square meters. The buildings adjoin the runway of the Manchester-Boston regional airport. Glenbervie Inc. selected Manchester-based FOR AGAINST as a planner and site manager for the project.

Work on a renovation project at Exeter High School begins June 17th. Designed by the architect Harrison Associates from Portsmouth, with Meridian structure Gilford’s general contractor, the $ 750,000 renovation project will convert a 5,000 square foot common area that previously housed lockers into a new two-story area that includes six offices, two conference rooms and two ADA-compliant bathrooms, as well as individualized areas for learning life skills, Rest rooms, speech therapy, psychology and behavioral specialists. The renovation is expected to take 14 to 16 weeks. More than 50 workers from 10 local subcontractors involved in the project are expected on site.

Franklin Savings Bank announced that it has acquired $ 116,500 in Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) tax credits to help fill the funding gap in the development of Mill City Park at Franklin Falls. The 13-acre white water park in the heart of downtown Franklin will feature multiple white water facilities, a bike pump track, rock climbing walls, hiking trails, an amphitheater, campsites and more. Mill City Park received a total of $ 500,000 in tax credits from the Community Development Finance Authority. The bank’s purchase of $ 116,500 represents 23.3% of the allotment. Start of construction July 12th.

The New Hampshire Good Roads Association, a statewide nonprofit founded in 1904 to represent individuals and corporations involved in the country’s transportation infrastructure, announced the results of the 2021-22 election for officers and directors.

Scott Knowles and Ron Talon of RE / MAX Bayside, and Steve Weeks, Jr. of RE / MAX Bayside Weeks commercial were named Top Agents in New England for the first quarter of this year by more than 2,700 agents recognized by RE / MAX International.

Scott Knowles was recognized as No. 5 in the state of New Hampshire and No. 31 in New England for housing commissions. Scott is also ranked 4th for March and 19th for April in commission income for residential real estate. Knowles has been in the real estate industry for more than 18 years and has been with RE / MAX Bayside since 2009.

Ron Talon was named No. 2 on Commercial Commissions in New England for the first quarter of 2021. Ron has over 16 years of experience selling residential and commercial property in New Hampshire.

Steve Weeks, Jr. was recognized as the No. 5 in New England in commercial commission income for the first quarter of 2021. Steve is a 37-year veteran in the commercial real estate industry. He and his team recently joined RE / MAX Bayside after previously owning and running Weeks Commercial Associates in Laconia.

Tinkham Realty, Inc. completed the sale of 15 & 23 Londonderry Road, also known as the Commerce Center in Londonderry. The sale consists of two multi-part office / warehouse buildings. Building # 15 at 22,000 S / F has 11 units and Building # 23 at 32,000 S / F has 16 units. The property has 148 parking spaces and is within a 1/4 mile of Exit 4 off Rte 93. Jerry Hersch of the Commercial Division of Tinkham Realty, Inc. represented the seller Labonte Investment Realty, LLC and Christopher Goodnow represented the buyer, KS Prime, LLC. The sales price was $ 5.2 million, according to the Rockingham Registry of Deeds.

Pam Wiggin joins her son Wayne Robinson Dow Realty Group at Keller Williams. Wiggin has been in the real estate business for 47 years. Until seven years ago when she joined Keller Williams, she owned her own real estate company in Sanbornville. She is Retired Broker, Strafford County Broker of the Year, and Lifetime Member of the NH Realtor Honor Society. It is licensed in both New Hampshire and Maine. She is also Chair of the Wakefield Heritage Commission and has been a member for 28 years (since its inception). Pam has written 5 grants funded by the Home Office for the city of Wakefield. She is responsible for five historical sites that are museums and open to the public.
