PGIM Real Estate appoints new global CIO

Raimondo Amabile has been named global CIO at PGIM Real Estate, a spokeswoman said.

In a newly expanded role, Mr. Amabile is responsible for overseeing the macro investment strategy of PGIM Real Estate worldwide. He was promoted to a Managing Director who ran Europe and Latin America.

CEO Eric Adler was previously global CIO and will continue to be involved in setting investment strategy.

“With a track record of more than 20 years in structuring and executing transactions in industrial and developing markets around the world, Raimondo is uniquely suited for this opportunity,” Adler said in a press release on Thursday.

“I am confident that this appointment will put us on the right track to leverage the power of PGIM Real Estate’s investment expertise in equity and leverage, as well as our use of data and technology,” he added.

PGIM Real Estate had assets under management of $ 190.4 billion as of March 31.
