PROGRESS 2021 | Century 21 All Points: Serving Texarkana’s real estate needs for more than 40 years

Century 21 All Points Realty has been based in Texarkana for over 40 years. In addition to the owners of Century 21 All Points Realty, Pete Snow and Jared Horton also act as brokers for the agency. “Having two agents on site is a huge plus for our agents and their clients. After working in other offices around town, we’ve learned what our agents need to help them do the best job for their clients We are very sensitive to the needs of their buyers and sellers and very proud of their work. We don’t just sell houses, we build relationships, “says agent Claudia Snow.

Studies show Century 21 is the most recognized real estate company in the world and so is our region. Because of this global presence, we can see that, according to Claudia Snow, our offers are viewed by buyers from America from coast to coast and to South Africa, Germany, France and England among others. Century 21 serves the real estate needs of clients in Bowie, Cass, Miller, Little River, Hempstead and Pike Counties. According to Pete Snow, they specialize in not only residential but also commercial real estate, as well as farm and ranch. Century 21 and its agents can also assist with purchasing land to build the dream home on and assist with recommending and interviewing home builders.

Claudia and Pete Snow are Texarkana Native people and their roots go deep as their families are rooted in our community. Claudia’s family owned and operated the Langdon Oxygen Company for over 40 years when they sold the company. Properties that don’t sit still and have owned investment property for over 25 years was the next logical step. Jared Horton’s background is in construction and architecture. This results in a knowledgeable broker and ally for both buyers and sellers and enables him to better run the agents in these areas. “It makes a huge difference to have that real estate experience,” says Jared.

The trio agreed that the pandemic has changed the housing market, including what people want and need. Claudia said they initially thought sales would slow down, but brokers were seen as essential and the attractive and historically low interest rates associated with people spending more time at home were good for the real estate business. Pete adds that COVID-19 has made the public rethink where they live and work and what they need at home – maybe more space, a home office, maybe space for the kids to play and online school too do.

The number of houses in the market is low and the selling prices for houses are at an all-time high. In addition, houses do not stay on the market very long, often only a few days with several offers. However, you really need a realtor to walk you through this process so that you can position your home for a quick sale. Too often people try to sell their home on their own and find the deals don’t end because they don’t have the support and guidance of a professional realtor, Claudia said.

Jared recalls a famous Will Rogers quote about real estate: “Don’t wait to buy real estate, buy real estate and wait.” If you’ve ever considered selling your home, now is the time to give us a call. Century 21 All Points is located at 3209 Richmond Road and can be reached at 903-832-4561.
