RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan announced the 30th anniversary of its communication preschool program at Beaumont Children’s in Royal Oak. The hospital-based preschool program is designed for children ages 3 to 6 with speech and language difficulties.

The RE/MAX Communication Preschool Program was started in October of 1992. Since then, agents and brokers of RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan have contributed nearly $1.6 million to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to fund the program, according to a press release.

Classroom sessions of the program are taught by a licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist and a certified teacher with an early childhood education background and special education experience. Scholarships are available for qualified students.
