REMAX Integrity in Grants Pass sustains its loyalty as a partner to the Coats for Kids Campaign | Archive
GRANTS PASS, Ore. – This year marks the 31st annual Coats for Kids campaign at Newswatch 12.
It could only continue with the support of the community. REMAX Integrity has helped Newswatch 12 meet its fundraising goals for the past 15 years.
In 2020, the company was able to provide more than 400 coats to children in need by giving donations to the Rogue Valley Boys&Girls Clubs.
Newsatch 12 spoke to REMAX’s managing agent in Grants Pass, Tiffany Johnson.
She tells us that as a mother of three school-age children, she sees the children in the community need a warm coat this winter.
“I’ve lived here all my life. It’s a great community and I see the need. The Boys and Girls Club probably sees the need more than the typical community.”
The Boys & Girls Club in Rogue Valley reports:
- 2,320 registered members
- 65% economically disadvantaged
Illinois Valley Club
- 386 registered members
- 93% economically disadvantaged
- 563 registered members
- 82% economically disadvantaged
Because of the pandemic, Newswatch is no longer accepting donations for used coats, but cash donations. In addition to accepting donations online at kdrv.com, we are expanding the ways people can contribute to the effort by inviting donations by check. Anyone wishing to write a check in support of the campaign may mail it to: KDRV-TV, Attention: Coats for Kids, PO Box 4220, Medford, OR 97501. Checks should be made payable to KDRV-TV marked Coats for Kids the memo line.
