Blue Zones Project Dodge County held a ribbon cutting ceremony outside at REMAX Prime Beaver Dam on April 16 to recognize the organization as the newest construction site to approve the Blue Zones Project. This designation shows REMAX’s commitment to improving employee well-being by optimizing the physical environment, delivering important employee benefits and being a strong community partner.
“We’re thrilled to be not only the first real estate company in Dodge County, but also the first in Wisconsin to be approved for the Blue Zones Project. Health and wellness are important to everyone here at Prime, and we are honored to be part of such a great organization. “REMAX Prime Owner Glenna Bachim.
In the physical area of the REMAX Prime office, employees have the opportunity to work at standing desks with different body stretches to promote physical well-being. Micro-pauses are recommended and a place to shift down is provided. Comfortable work clothes are encouraged and employees can take their dogs to work to create a sense of lightness.
Employees take the RealAge test annually. Weekly staff meetings take time to discuss a principle of Blue Zones Project Power 9. In addition to the flower garden that the employees maintain, there is an herb garden available to the employees that they can both maintain and enjoy.
Individual growth is valued at REMAX Prime, so that every employee can receive financial welfare instruments, individual support and workshops on the subject of wellbeing. Since being connected to the community is also important, employees will attend Earth Day annually by planting a tree, logging corporate citizenship hours, and offering healthy snacks when they host an open house.
