ShowingTime+ from Zillow plans to up agents’ marketing game
Zillow Group’s ShowingTime+ platform is looking to give real estate agents a leg up in marketing their listed properties. The platform has launched Listing Media Servicesa technology-enabled real estate photography service that offers media packages for real estate agents to market their listings, according to an announcement on Wednesday.
At the moment, the service is only available in Milwaukee, Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles. Tampa and Orlando will be online in a few days. The firm said other markets will have access to the service in the near future.
Listing Media Services is the foundation for Listing Showcase, the ShowingTime+ premium listing marketing product, which is slated to launch in select markets later this year.
Through the ShowingTime+ platform, agents who have access to Listing Media Services can schedule a professional photographer with on-demand booking to photograph their listing. With Listing Media Services, agents will then receive high-resolution listing photos, an interactive floor plan with embedded virtual tour and listing photos, downloadable floor plans and aerial photos.
According to the release, the interactive floor plan is automatically syndicated to Zillow, Redfin and select multiple listing services.
“We want to help agents effortlessly deliver standout listings that wow their sellers and help win over potential buyers,” Cynthia Taylor, vice president of product for ShowingTime+, said in a statement. “Listing Media Services cuts down on the time agents spend preparing a listing so they can focus on the high-touch, high-value work they do as a trusted adviser for their clients.”
Zillow data shows that homes listed on the site with a 3D home tour and/or an interactive floor plan were saved by users 78% more often than homes without a virtual tour.
In addition, 70% of home sellers report that they are more likely to hire an agent who includes virtual tours and/or interactive floor plans in their services.
