Ross Gampe hit a no-hitter, hitting 10 for Tyrone Legion in a 9-1 win over Sheetz on Stout Field Sunday in George B. Kelley Federation action.

Gampe also had two hits, scored three runs and took three more. Luke Brooks added three hits and doubled up for Tyrone.

Senior Babe Ruth

In the eighth game, 5-5, Ryan Hopkins left with loaded bases to give PennCrest Bank a 6-5 walk-off win over Cumming Motors Sunday at Seitz Field in an Altoona Teen Baseball Senior Babe Ruth League match.

PennCrest bounced back from a 5-2 deficit in the bottom of the seventh with three runs to tie the game and send it to additional innings. After Kaleb Mountain’s RBI single scored Tanner Swogger, Zach Oakes linked the game to a two-time single that drove Mountain and Derek Clapper home.

Swogger, Mountain and Clapper each had two hits. Clapper won the win, giving up just one run in the last four innings while hitting five.

Austin Parker, Caleb Sanders and Tyler Helsel each had two hits for Cumming Motors.

n Trent Meyers hit five solid innings, and Sammy Saylor, Tristan Socie and Trent Querry each had two hits for Locker Room in an 11-5 win over Furrer Beverage in a Senior Babe Ruth game at Seitz Field on Friday.
