UCC appoints Canadian Nancy Sears to head its real estate business

Canadian real estate expert Nancy Sears has been appointed CEO of RE/MAX ELITE and UCC Real Estate Investment and Development (REID).

Her appointment follows UCC Group’s recent acquisition of real estate franchise RE/Max Elite through its subsidiary Spectrum Capital Markets St Lucia Limited.

In announcing the appointment, Winston Adams, Executive Chairman of UCC Group, described Sears as a dynamic and proven leader in the real estate industry, both regionally and internationally.

She has been in the industry since March 1985 and in 1996 was the youngest real estate agent and owner in the greater Toronto area.

During her nearly 37-year career, she has achieved many milestones, including a 1988 placement in the top 100 brokers for RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic, UCC said in a statement.

She is currently Director of Business Growth at REMAX Royal Properties, one of Canada’s growing real estate firms.

“Helping people achieve their goals, building teams and growing real estate businesses is what she does best, and she has trained, managed and developed countless agents throughout her career,” said UCC.

Sears, who will also serve as Chief Operating Officer, will be supported by a team of highly experienced and dedicated real estate professionals at RE/MAX Elite and UCC REID, as well as Canada’s top international performance consultants.
