Vandals strike 2 businesses on Marco Island

Two Marco Island business owners are shocked and need to fix after vandals struck this week.
You’re lucky enough nothing was stolen, but the general manager of Your CBD Store said the door will be boarded up for a while due to a delivery bottleneck. In addition, it will cost a thousand dollars to repair.
Their CBD store wasn’t the only business success, so the question now arises: who is targeting them?
A surveillance video from Your CBD Store on North Collier Boulevard shows two teenagers breaking in early Tuesday.
“What are these kids doing on Marco Island? Go back to school! “Said Stacy Bull, general manager.
When she got to work on Tuesday, she found the door broken and glass everywhere. She recorded a video expressing her outrage over the incident where someone struck a stone through the glass.
“This is not a stone, this is a bloody boulder! How do you give it up and why should you do that to our shop? “
She thinks it was on purpose.
“I mean, who does it – on Marco Island!”
Next door at ReMax, employee Angel DiFazio wondered if these vandals hit his business too. He found her back door knob chopped off and on the floor on Tuesday.
“What a shame who did that. Really, shame on her. I hope their hands fall off. It’s a terrible thing, ”said DiFazio.
“This is a great place to live, so actions like this are disturbing to all of us. Do you hurt, you know? “
A third store was hit early Tuesday, but this time in the Golden Gate Estates. A surveillance video shows two people breaking into the A1A liquor store. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said the couple got away with nearly $ 600 in alcohol.
Bull hopes everyone involved in these crimes will be caught.
“Everyone else, small business owners or just residents of Marco Island, also want these children to be caught because they don’t want something like this ever to happen again.”
CCSO said detectives are investigating whether the liquor heist and Your CBD Store break-in are somehow related.
