Walker & Dunlop Partners with North Carolina Central University to Help Launch School’s First-Ever MBA Real Estate Studies Program

BETHESDA, Md., March 16, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Walker & Dunlop, Inc. announced today that it is partnering with North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Business launches its upcoming Real Estate MBA program. One of the historically best black universities, the NCCU prioritizes the development and growth of talented minority students – a mission in line with Walker & Dunlop’s commitment to building meaningful relationships with organizations that provide innovative opportunities to various communities.

Walker & Dunlop will work closely with the NCCU Business Faculty and students to develop a world class real estate program. Walker & Dunlop’s subject matter experts offer to teach or co-teach courses, provide professional resources and mentoring for those interested in real estate, and offer summer internship opportunities. In addition, Walker & Dunlop will sit on the NCCU’s Board of Visitors within the business school.

In support of the program, Walker & Dunlop will award two one-year academic scholarships for the next five years. The scholarships include tuition fees as well as full boarding for two MBA students with an emphasis on real estate that may otherwise not have access to the program.
