West Plains Area Chamber of Commerce Caddyshack Classic Golf Tournament

The West Plains Chamber of Commerce’s annual Caddyshack Classic golf tournament is scheduled for Friday, May 7th at the West Plains Country Club. The three-person scramble begins with a shotgun launch at 12:00 p.m. Chamber members, prospective members and guests all gather for an afternoon of golf, networking and fun. A Burton Creek Medical Complex, Ozarks Healthcare, Westgate Realty, Simmons Bank-Golfer’s Lunch begins at 11:00 AM. Wade Insurance-Darren Petrus sponsored a Bushnell Golf Speaker & Audible GPS Raffle Prize. The driving range and putting green are compliments of the West Plains Bank & Trust Company. Remax Connection gift bags are distributed to every golfer and the Central Trust Company has strengthened itself as a golf ball sponsor again this year!

Every golfer has the chance to test their skills at shooting a hole-in-one at number 8 for a Mega Motorsports 2021 Spartan RZ-C 42-inch zero-turn mower valued at $ 4,000! Prizes for a hole-in-one hole on the other par-3 hole include a $ 500 Visa gift card, set of Calloway irons, and a 40-inch HD Smart TV Compliment from Community First Banking Company, Pain Treatment Associates and Schultz, Wood & Rapp, PC. The chamber awards tournament prizes for first, second and third place in three flights. Other competitions include; Great Rivers distributes “Closet to the Pin”, Wiles Abstract & Title Company “Longest Putt” and Quality Floors “Longest Drive”.

The Caddyshack Classic Golf Tournament is the chamber’s largest fundraising drive with no fees. The proceeds complement the membership fees for chamber programs and seminars, initiatives for economic development and community events.
