Today on DelmarvaLife –

We all know … a little help can go a long way. You can say that with certainty for every situation in life, right? Score Mid and Lower Shore wants and is this support for the small businesses in our region.

Do you remember last week when the weather was excruciatingly hot and it felt like we were just waiting for the heatwave to end every day? It’s a similar, longer-term situation with the way the current housing market is. Buyers, sellers, and the brokers, agents, and brokers in the middle keep sorting the mess, and that takes patience.
Pam Price of Remax Coast and Country says that throughout the process she witnesses events that she never thought she would.
She sat down with Katie Zarrilli from DelmarvaLife to give us an honest look at the market.

The housing market remains hectic. Buyers keep getting beat up for homes they hope for and sellers who make money on their homes are stuck with no going anywhere. You might be asking: what’s going on in the financial world? Good news – it’s still going strong. So while getting a home can be a daunting task, it is a good time to get a loan. Katie Zarrilli from DelmarvaLife sat down with me Dan Premo of The Premo Team at Meridian Bank to find out more.

Dr. Maninder Singh from TidalHealth is here to discuss cardiology with us!

What you will need
- 2 ripe avocados, halved, pitted and peeled

- 1/ 4 cups chopped tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion
- 1/ 4 teaspoons of garlic powder
- 1/ 4 teaspoons of salt
What to do
- Put the avocados in a large bowl and mash them with a fork. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until everything is mixed well. The more you smash this, the smoother the guacamole will be.
- Serve immediately.
Test kitchen tip
- To keep it from turning black, cover it with plastic wrap and press down on the plastic wrap so it sticks to the guacamole. This will reduce exposure to the air, which will help it stay nice and green.
- Guacamole is a great dip for a variety of things! You can dip your favorite veggies or chips, or even spread them on toast, which is pretty trendy right now!
