An Arlington commercial building and Irving shopping center have new owners
The City of Arlington has bought a building in the city’s entertainment district to be converted into a police station, evidence collection and crime lab. Skywalker Property Partners sold the 41,680 square foot building, constructed in 1984. The property includes 1715 E. Lamar Blvd., across from Hurricane Harbor. Skywalker Property owned the building for seven years. Clint Holland with Skywalker Property brokered the sale.
A foreign investor has bought Towne North Mall, a 124,289 square meter mall on the southwest corner of Belt Line Road and Northgate in Irving. The mall is anchored by El Rancho Supermercado. David Disney and Adam Crockett of the Disney Investment Group brokered the sale through the Nayeb Group.
Pulte Homes bought 18 acres at 5001 Zion Rd. In Garland from Oasis Church with plans to build 90 single family homes in a project called Bridgewater. Jack Gail of Younger Partners brokered the sale with John Muzyka of Church Realty. The open land was originally zoned for commercial use.
Western Wealth Capital has purchased Somerset Apartments, a 372-unit rental community on Corporate Drive and State Highway 121 in Lewisville. . The property, built in 1986, was sold by LumaCorp. Drew Kile, Joey Tumminello, Will Balthrope, Asher Hall, Bard Hoover and Nick Fluellen with Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale.
GoodLife Housing Partners acquired Marbletree Apartments, a 416-unit garden-style apartment building on 4057 North Belt Line Road in Irving, Texas. The property is currently 98% occupied. The rental community was sold by LumaCorp. Newmark’s Jakob Andersen and Brian O’Boyle Jr. brokered the sale. Financing for the purchase was provided by Ready Capital.
Virani Service Group has purchased 5,940 square feet of office storage on 1.19 acres at 2630 North Interstate 35E in Carrollton. Jason Finch and Brian Pafford of Bradford Commercial Real Estate brokered the sale with Rich Young Jr. of Rich Young Co.
Vasquez Realty Holdings LLC has purchased a 5,421 square foot office building on 8509 Mid-Cities Boulevard in Stonecreek Office Park in North Richland Hills. JCP Realty developed the new building. Russ Webb and LeAnn Brown of Silver Oak Commercial Realty brokered the sale.
Sunrise Wood Designs LLC, a furniture maker for construction companies in North Texas, has expanded its manufacturing facility at 8801 Freeway Drive in South Dallas to 167,405 square feet. Baron Aldrine and Michael Chiocca negotiated the lease with CBRE.
Texan Food Service has at 10500 Metric Dr. Leased 5,000 square meters of commercial space in Dallas from Tyler Family Real Estate Investments LLC. Jason Finch, Noah Dodge and Brian Pafford of Bradford Commercial Real Estate negotiated the lease.
STD Solutions Inc has leased 7,954 square feet of commercial space at 5535 Airport Freeway in Haltom City. Ben Crancer, Evan Hammer and Jade Scott of Whitebox Real Estate have negotiated the lease with Steve Relyea of The Relyea Co.
Mitsui Bussan Logistics Inc. has rented 4,673 square feet of commercial space at 1707 Market Place Blvd, Irving. Duane Henley with Transwestern negotiated the lease with Allison Fannin as Hartman Income REIT’s agent.
Linda Averitt has rented 1,211 square meters of retail space in The Shops at Midlothian at 661 East Main Street. Tom Heraty with NAI Robert Lynn negotiated the lease.
iDesign rented 2,829 square feet of office space in the Highland Park Place building at 4514 Cole Avenue in Dallas. Trey Smith and Lauren Napper with CBRE negotiated the lease for the client KBS.
