Korb Maxwell is a recognized and sought-after practitioner in the Midwest who has been focused on economic development projects for more than 16 years. As a shareholder in Polsinelli, Maxwell has negotiated, approved and documented incentives for its clients’ projects in every asset class of real estate.
Maxwell’s focus is on large-scale development and employment projects that use complex incentives for federal, state and local development. His experience in working with municipalities and states in structuring and implementing incentive packages gives him insights and practical experience that benefit clients’ real estate, economic development or employment projects.
Maxwell also regularly represents landowners, developers, and companies before local authorities in approving zones and development plans. He has led millions of square feet of development projects through the right-to-build process in Kansas and Missouri. Through his development work, Maxwell has gained hands-on experience in all aspects of real estate transactions, including sales and purchase contracts, title review, leasing, loan and bond documentation, facilitations and restrictions.
