Commercial realtor predicts Dupont area development will continue for years to come

Denny Worman said we saw evidence that more will be added to the Dupont area as more businesses emerged. These include hospitals, shopping malls, hotels and chains such as a Meijer grocery store under construction. Also restaurants like Giordano’s Pizza and Panda Express. Worman, who specializes in commercial real estate and has been involved in much of the development in the Dupont area, said many factors determine area growth. “Maybe 15 years ago a lot of places where things happened [was] in the southwest, that’s the shopping malls you see a lot on Illinois Road, Jefferson Point, ”said Worman. “But this type of work is oversaturated. He said it was similar to the communities lining I-465 in Indianapolis. In the end, he expects the Dupont and Union Chapel area to resemble a place like Noblesville because it is developing at a similar pace.
