Realtors at the Remax Precision real estate office at 900 First Ave. welcomed their fellow members of the Perry commercial community with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house Friday afternoon.
Nikki Deardorff, Amy Rathje and Audra Sorber said they will be regularly seen in the newly remodeled offices, with colleagues such as Wayde Burkhart of the Adel Remax Precision office, Julie Mozena of the Clive office and Ashley Platt of the West Des Moines office also making frequent appearances.
“We’re very grateful to have brick and mortar here in Perry, very excited,” said Deardorff, who worked with Nevitt Real Estate for seven years before joining the Remax team. Sorber has extensive experience in mortgage underwriting and is new to the realty business. Rathje worked with Remax Pros on Main for 16 years and Iowa Realty for seven years.
Numerous other figures from the realty world attended the event, including Remax Precision owner Travis Moulton of Clive, along with many well wishers from the Perry commercial classes.
Perry Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti led the ribbon-cutting ceremonies, which followed an impromptu choral performance of “Happy Birthday!” in honor of Rathje’s 39th birthday.
