Ribbon cuttings | DeSoto County News

Several new DeSoto County companies have celebrated grand openings with ribbon cutting events in the past few days. Here is an overview of some of the events we were able to attend:

AFTRGLO Medispa in Hernando held a ribbon severance to open its location as 1150 Monteith Avenue. Dr. Vivian Lo is the medical director.

Remax Experts Real Estate has opened its fourth Mid-South office at 5960 Getwell Road in Southaven. Audrey Davis and Bill Stewart are office agents. The agency also has offices in Memphis, Germantown, and Collierville, Tennessee (Bob Bakken / DeSoto County News)

The Artist Mill in Old Towne is a new store in the historic Olive Branch shopping district. Cherri and Bill Lamar are the owners. The shop offers handmade, hand-painted, vintage items and workshops. (Bob Bakken / DeSoto County News)

Down Home Soul Food Kitchen has opened at 2570 Goodman Road West in Horn Lake. As the name suggests, the restaurant serves down-to-earth soul food. (Courtesy photo)
